No One Is Here By Chance...

Hello :)

Oh my gosh!

Now, whenever I hear people saying that they are in SAJC, not by chance, I am soooo going to concur with them.

Let me tell you why. I was just checking the 2007 PAE instruction guide published by MOE (at http://www.moe.gov.sg/esp/schadm/pae/RegistrationGuide.pdf), and this table really took me aback:

So, ACJC's cut-off point for Arts was partial 8 this year! And gee, I was told by so many people that it was partial 7. Now, those of you who know the long story of my JAE Results Day might think that I'm kind of regretting my 'folly' now. A 'folly' of not trying to appeal into ACJC because my score could have earned me a spot there but I never chose that school in my JAE Registration Form.

Haha, you're dead wrong! Perhaps, a rational person would most positively feel so pissed at himself for not appealing to a better school (pardon me, I am not in any position to compare one JC vis-a-vis another).

But hey, it's me you're talking about here! Haha. As a matter of fact, I am rather glad that I chose SAJC instead. Yeah, so what if its cut-off point for Arts is 10? It doesn't make it any worse than a JC with a lower cut-off point, I'm sure. In the first place, if even in SA I am already 'suffocating', let alone in a better JC. I would already be in my sepulcher by now.

What I am trying to say is, no one in SA is here by chance. I am a living testimony to that.

Thank God for whatever plan He has for me. I am sure I will not regret a single day spent in SA, with all the wonderful people.

Okay, that's enough for now. I have to get back to my Literature essay, which is due tomorrow. Yeah, on the Open House! Grrr.

See you soon,

Perd.
